The Republican Liberty Caucus of Lee County supports individual rights, limited government, and free enterprise.

​We believe every human being is endowed by nature with inherent rights to life, liberty, and property, which are properly secured by law. We support a strict construction of the Bill of Rights as a safeguard against tyranny; the protection of voluntary, consensual conduct under the Ninth and Tenth Amendments; and the guarantees of equal protection and due process under the Fourteenth Amendment.

We support the constitutional limits on federal government powers as enumerated in Article I, Section 8, and believe these limits must be upheld as the foundation of responsible governance. We oppose the expansion of broad or undefined powers under interpretations of general welfare or interstate commerce.

We support a free market and oppose unnecessary restrictions on the voluntary and honest exchange of value. We favor minimal, fair, and equitable taxation to fund the essential functions of government. We oppose the transfer of legislative authority from Congress to unelected regulatory agencies, executive departments, or international bodies.

We affirm the Constitution as the supreme law of the land, support the republican form of government it establishes, and uphold the right of all citizens to fair and equal representation.

We believe these principles reflect the proper foundation of the Republican Party and are essential to preserving liberty at the local, state, and national levels. In Lee County, Florida, we are committed to advancing these principles through community engagement, civic education, and support for leaders who uphold constitutional values.
